How To Find Your Audi Radio Serial.

There are 2 types of Audi serial numbers (Audi Navigation Plus see method 2). It is quite simple to remove your Audi radio. You will need a set of radio release keys (PC5-83). These are inexpensive and are around £3 – £5, you can obtain them from a local car audio shop or Halfords.
Once you have the radio release keys, push them into the 4 holes in each corner of the radio (See image), apply a little pressure and the radio will release from the dashboard. The radios label will be located on the radio’s casing.

Method 2
For Audi Navigation Plus
With the Audi Navigation Plus system the serial can be displayed on screen rather than taking out the radio unit.
Instructions!
- Submit your Radio Serial and your email!
- You will then be redirected to download your code this is important! As you will be receiving an email when the code is activated
- Once your radio is on and appears in “SAFE” mode
- Repeatedly press the P.SCAN and RBDS buttons, holding them down, until “1000” lights up. Release the buttons. (Do not continue to hold or press the buttons, or your radio unit will think you are entering the decode “1000”)
- Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
- If you have entered the code correctly on the radios display, press the P.SCAN and RBDS simultaneously again, holding down until SAFE is displayed.
- Once your radio is on and appears in “SAFE” mode
- Repeatedly press the FM 2 and RDS buttons, holding them down, until “1000” lights up. Release the buttons. (Do not continue to hold or press the buttons, or your radio unit will think you are entering the decode “1000”)
- If you have entered the code correctly on the radios display, press the FM 2 and RDS repeatedly again, holding down until SAFE is displayed.
- Once your radio is on and appears in “SAFE” mode
- Repeatedly press FM (1/2) and DX buttons, holding them down, until “1000” lights up. Release the buttons. (Do not continue to hold or press the buttons, or your radio unit will think you are entering the decode “1000”)
- Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
- If you have entered the code correctly on the radios display, press the FM 2 and RDS repeatedly again, holding down until SAFE is displayed.
- Once your radio is on and appears in “SAFE” mode
- Repeatedly press FM 1 and AM buttons, holding them down, until “1000” lights up. Release the buttons. (Do not continue to hold or press the buttons, or your radio unit will think you are entering the decode “1000”)
- Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
- The 1st button will only be a 1 or left blank, the following three digits will be number 1 through 9.
- If you have entered the code correctly on the radios display, press the FM 1 and AM repeatedly again, holding down until SAFE is displayed.
Once your radio is on it should appear “CODE”
If you press the Preset Station Selector Button “Code” will be replaced by “0000”
- Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
- Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
- The 1st button will only be a 1 or left blank, the following three digits will be number 1 through 9.
- Make sure to enter the code in the space of 1 minute or it will interrupt the process.
- If you have entered the code correctly on the radios display, press the fifth button.

There are multiple ways to identify the serial number of your GoPro camera or accessory. For cameras, the serial number will be listed in your camera settings, inside the battery compartment, on the box, or in the .txt file in the MISC folder of your SD card once it's been used in the camera.
Locate the Serial Number in your camera's settings:
HERO10 Black, HERO9 Black
- Found in the camera's menu (Swipe from the top, swipe let, tap [Preferences] > [About] > [Camera Info])
- Found in the battery compartment below the CE icon. It's small and you'll need some light.
HERO8 Black, MAX
- Found in the camera's menu (Swipe from the top, tap [Preferences] > [About] > [Camera Info])
- Found in the battery compartment below the CE icon. It's small and you'll need some light.
Fusion
- Found in the camera's menu (Use mode button to navigate to Settings Menu > [Gear Icon] > [About])
- Found in the USB Charging port area
- Found on the SD1 Sd card in the MISC folder

- Find the number printed in the battery compartment (HERO7 Black only)
HERO6 Black
- Find the number in the camera's menu ([Preferences] > [About This GoPr]o > [Serial Number]).
- Find the number printed on a sticker on bottom of the camera's box.
- Find the number in the version.txt file, located in the MISC folder on any SD card that has been used in the camera.
- Find the number printed in the battery compartment. NOTE: The sticker is sideways in the compartment and may difficult to read. If necessary, we suggest taking a picture and zooming in to help with legibility.

Remove the battery and locate the metal FCC plate inside the battery bay, directly on top of the SD card slot. Your serial number will be 14-characters in length, and begin with 'C31.'
- Remove the battery and locate the white sticker inside the battery bay. Your serial number will be 14-characters in length, and begin with 'C332.'

- The serial number is etched on the rear of the device. Your serial number will be 15 characters in length, and start with 'A12813.'
LCD (Touch) BacPac
- Locate the silver sticker on the rear of the unit. Your serial number will be 13- to 15-characters in length, and start with 'LB,' 'LCD,' or 'B212.'
Battery BacPac
- Locate the silver sticker on the rear of the unit. Your serial number will be 13- to 15-characters in length, and start with 'BB,' or 'B211.'
Wi-Fi BacPac
- Locate the silver sticker on the rear of the unit. Your serial number will be 14-characters in length, and start with 'WIF.'
- The serial number is etched on the rear of the device. Your serial number will be 14-characters in length, and start with 'A111.'
- The serial number is etched on the rear of the device. Your serial number will be 15 characters in length, and start with 'RMTE.'
The Remote
- The serial number is written on the inside of the charging port flap. Your serial number will be 15 characters in length, and start with 'A12914.'
REMO
- The serial number is etched on the rear of the device. Your serial number will be 15 characters in length, and start with 'A11325'.
Locate the serial number in the version.txt file:
This is a great way to get your serial number if your Touch Display is not functioning, you don't have the original box, or you are having a hard time seeing the number in the battery compartment. It would be very helpful for you to take a screenshot or take a photo of this information as it can help a GoPro Support Rep with troubleshooting.- Insert your SD card into your computer
- Locate the SD card in File Explorer or Finder and open it
- Open the MISC Folder
- Open the version.txt file
- View the serial number. In this area, you can also view your camera's current firmware version.
